Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to an update regarding their pursuit of midfielder Franck Kessie.
Reports back in November seemed to hint that Spurs boss Antonio Conte was a big fan of the 24-year-old AC Milan midfielder, who is valued at £49.5m on Transfermarkt.
Since then, moves have been made to try and bring him to north London, with reports in Italy claiming that they were in a battle with French side Paris Saint-Germain for his services.
Now, a further report from CalcioMercato has claimed that Tottenham are ‘in the lead’ when it comes to grabbing his signature.
Kessie, with 35 goals and 17 assists during his time at AC Milan, could certainly add some firepower from midfield to Spurs, and when the news of the update was relayed on social media by a number of outlets for fans to react to, it was met with much merriment from a number of supporters:
“Moussa Sissoko v2”
Do you want to see Kessie sign?
Yes
No
It certainly is a positive update from Tottenham’s perspective, now it’s just a case of whether or not they’ll be able to finish the deal when the time comes.

If Conte gets the backing and signs the likes of, Vlahovic, Kessie, De Ligt and a top right back we will be right back in business for a top 4 spot. Selling Dele, Bergwijn, Doherty, Davies, Winks and Lo Celso should offset a large part of the outlay to sign those four players.
