A whole host of Newcastle United fans are furious on Twitter to see their club being linked with a move for Tyrese Campbell.
Newcastle have one of the better strikers in the bottom half of the Premier League in the form of Callum Wilson, and it’s easy to see how given his goal record in the top flight for the Magpies, with the forward netting six times in just 11 appearances so far this season.
However, if Wilson was to pick up an injury, much like he did earlier this campaign, then Newcastle only have Joelinton or Dwight Gayle to call upon, so in January they could look to bring in some more suitable backup, and journalist Martin Lipton has claimed that they are looking to bring in Stoke City’s Campbell for £20 million.

These Newcastle fans are clearly concerned by this link as it may signal that they’re preparing for the Championship next season, as well as the fact that Eddie Howe signed a young English striker with next to no Premier League experience in the form of Dominic Solanke at Bournemouth for £19m, where he only managed to net three times in 42 top-flight appearances for the Cherries.
