Leeds United fans have been reacting to claims surrounding Marcelo Bielsa and his future at the club.
Leeds have certainly struggled this season, at least in comparison to last year when they took the league by storm and ended up finishing ninth. They currently lie 15th in the table with just three wins and 15 goals to their name in their opening 15 games, and according to reports, that could lead to problems if the situation doesn’t improve soon.
A claim in French outlet JeunesFooteux has suggested that Bielsa could walk away from the club, as they write “a meeting must take place during the winter break between the leaders of Leeds and the Argentine technician, in order to discuss the future of the latter”.
They stress that given Leeds’ upcoming schedule, it is possible that Leeds could be in the relegation zone come the new year, which might force the club into a difficult decision and that “Marcelo Bielsa would clearly not rule out leaving the ship as early as January”.
The news was relayed by the Leeds Insider Facebook page (via MOT Leeds News) for fans to react to, with many of them up in arms at the suggestion that Bielsa could be on his way out of the club so soon:

Given the relationship that Bielsa has with the fans, you can certainly understand their anger at the suggestion, but it will be interesting to see Bielsa’s attitude about it all should their chances of relegation increase in the coming weeks.
