A large number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a big update to emerge from journalist Alasdair Gold on a reported virus breakout at Hotspur Way.

According to the journalist, a number of Tottenham players, along with two of Antonio Conte’s coaching staff, have returned positive tests just days ahead of their Europa Conference League game.

Can you see Spurs getting top four this season?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Although it has not been confirmed by the club and no names have been suggested, this could come as a big blow for the Lilywhites as the outcome of the game against Rennes could see Spurs dumped out of the competition.

Spurs have previously been hit with positive tests, however, before their game against Newcastle United, they were deemed as false positives and it is apparent these fans are hoping for history to repeat itself.

What did these Spurs fans have to say?

“Yikes. This is why we can’t have nice things.”

“Pain”
“Lol you can’t make this up”
“We are cursed I swear”
“i’m gonna cry”
“NOOOOOO”
“Pain. Severe pain”

After winning their last three Premier League games, Conte’s men face Brighton & Hove Albion next weekend, but may well be without a number of their stars if these claims are to be believed.

Given Spurs finally seem to be finding some consistency this season with Conte in charge, it is no surprise these fans are frustrated to hear the potential blow ahead of the festive period.
