Anthony Martial wants to leave Manchester United according to Sky Sports who reported his agent said he wants to leave. Newcastle United are now being touted as one of the front runners for his signature.
The Frenchman has been falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford after the arrivals of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Jadon Sancho in attacking areas.
With a World Cup just around the corner, he’ll want to give himself the best chance of making the French squad who will be defending their crown in 2022.

Martial would definitely add quality and experience to the Toon after his spell at Old Trafford. He’s found it difficult of late, scoring just one goal in his 10 appearances this season.
However, when he has a bit more consistency of appearances behind him, he has been impressive. In the 2019/2020 season he appeared 32 times in the league for Manchester United, scoring 17 and assisting seven.
He’d likely be one of Newcastle’s main players should they sign him. If he could start to produce like that 19/20 season for the Magpies this year, what an investment it would be!
