Roberts’ role in that fourth goal for Arsenal was indicative of his overall display on the evening. He gave the ball away 13 times in total, lost three of his four duels and failed with seven of his 28 passes, as per SofaScore.
Despite primarily being a striker, finding the back of the net has proven difficult for the Wales international. He has played 17 Premier League games for the Whites so far this term, only scoring once. This will be a real concern for Marcelo Bielsa, who is still without Patrick Bamford due to injury.
Losing to Arsenal isn’t a disaster for teams fighting relegation, but the manner of this defeat was galling for the Whites. That’s 11 goals shipped in their last two games, with Leeds hovering dangerously close to the drop zone.
