A whole host of West Brom fans are furious on Twitter with Valerien Ismael’s comments following the draw against Middlesbrough.

The Baggies fell to a fifth draw of the season in the Championship as they could only manage a stalemate against Boro which saw them lose further ground on the two teams above them in Fulham and Bournemouth, who both picked up wins.

Should West Brom sack Ismael?

This draw against Boro, who are in the bottom half of the Championship, was also the Baggies’ 10th game in the league this season which saw them fail to score more than one goal, so it is understandable, given how free-flowing and clinical promotion rivals Fulham and Bournemouth have been in the final third, that West Brom fans are very angry, even with Ismael’s claim that they played well for as much as 10 minutes.

A lot of West Brom fans on Twitter are livid following Ismael’s comments.

What have these West Brom fans been saying?

“If he thinks we played well at any point in that 90 minutes, then he needs to do one. Dreadful.”

“Our passing once again was shocking. I’m sick of seeing us give the ball away and waste opportunities for the most basic of football errors.”

“Saying this like it hasn’t been the same in virtually every game since Peterborough? The arrogance is blinding.”

“Footballs terrible and not enough people booed that half time whistle. Voice your opinions folks dont tweet them”

“When will the excuses stop?”

“Boring to watch and boring to read!”

Despite results being incredibly inconsistent this season, Ismael is yet to spend any money on transfers this season, having to rely on loans and free transfers, so he should possibly be given more time and let off slightly until he can truly mould the squad into his own.
