A whole host of Celtic fans are gutted on Twitter as fresh Tom Rogic injury news has emerged.

Over the last few weeks, Ange Postecoglou appears to have got things clicking at Celtic as the Bhoys have only lost to Bayer Leverkusen in their last eight games in all competitions and sit only two points behind table-toppers and rivals Rangers.

Celtic’s latest victory came away to Hibernian on Wednesday evening as they stormed into a 3-0 lead after just half an hour and ended up picking up all three points comfortably, although this seemingly came at a cost as midfielder Rogic was forced off just before half time and Postecogolou confirmed after the match that he was withdrawn after ‘feeling something in his hamstring‘.

A lot of Celtic fans are devastated on Twitter following this Rogic news.

What have these Celtic fans been saying?

“Hope he just mistook his hamstring for half the Hibs team in his back pocket”

@Shoops67

“This could be a huge loss if Rogic is out for a bit. The difference in our play tonight with and without him was massive. Puts extra pressure on an area where we are already really stretched.”

@PositiveHoops88

“Please no.”

@StaceyDevlinx

“There’s my happiness came at a cost”

@AMC__88

“The thing he felt in his hamstring was GOGIC!!! Basically he got kicked off the park because they couldn’t handle him…he was having a brilliant game and it totally changed the dynamic.”

@scoblerone10

“He could probably feel half the Hibs team in his pocket. Majestic from big Tam tonight.”

@Chris85Mills

It would be a huge blow for Celtic if they were to lose Rogic for a prolonged period of time given how trusted he is by Postecoglou, who has handed the midfielder minutes in every single game this season throughout all competitions.

Just as Celtic are closing in on Rangers and making it a competitive title race, losing someone like Rogic who has been a regular ever since he arrived at Celtic Park may even force something like a change in style or formation.
