Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have responded to the post-match interview to emerge on Twitter from Nuno Espirito Santo following their Carabao Cup victory against Burnley.

The Lilywhites progressed through to the final eight of the League Cup on Wednesday night after Lucas Moura’s second-half header saw the Londoners advance.

Is it too early to sack Nuno?

Following the victory in Lancashire, the Spurs boss spoke to the club’s media team to discuss the much-needed victory after the weekend’s disappointing league defeat against West Ham United.

“A tough team to play against, Burnley is a good team. And the boys did well. They worked hard, they were organised and they played good football,” said the 47-year-old Spurs boss.

Spurs fans flocked to the tweet from the club’s official account to share their frustrations with the Portuguese manager despite leaving Turf Moor with the victory.

What did these fans have to say?

“Why is he still here?”

“Leave my club.”
“Looks like hes guna cry again”
“sick and tired of this man”
“Disgusting”
“I’m sorry but he seems to be happy with less than average performances, like he watches a different game. So uninspiring.”
“Why is this fraud still at the club”

Tottenham had the opportunity to climb up into the top four of the Premier League table on the weekend, but the defeat at the London Stadium saw them remain seven points off the title race.

Given Spurs have already lost the four London derbies they’ve played this season, it seems the cup victory against Burnley was not enough to appease these fans.

It’s Levy we need to get rid of first, so many of our problems will be solved by just getting rid Of Levy, Lewis and ENIC, then we need to change up the playing staff. There can’t be one supporter that doesn’t agree that 20 years of failure by Levy and ENIC is way too long, no one should be given that kind of time to prove they can’t do the job. It’s time they LEFT. Levy, Lewis and ENIC OUT !!!
