Many Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to react to an appalling post-match stat following their Premier League defeat against West Ham on Sunday afternoon.

Michaeil Antonio struck the only goal of the match with 17 minutes remaining as he met Aaron Cresswell’s fierce corner from the left, meaning West Ham have now scored 18 goals via set-pieces since the start of last season.

The response from Nuno’s side was non-existent following the goal, with the north London team failing to register a shot on goal in the second half as their run of two straight victories came to an end.

Following the defeat to David Moyes side, Nuno’s side have lost to Premier League London rivals Arsenal, Palace, Chelsea and West Ham already this season, a stat which will gravely concern Lilywhites fans.

Will Nuno be the Spurs manager come Xmas?

Yes

Yes

No

No

And, after hearing about that, some Spurs fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts.

What did Spurs fans have to say about it?

“To Levy and ENIC we are a business and nothing more! Yes we have a world class stadium and training ground but it’s all to increase value! 20 years in charge of Tottenham and we have 1 cup to show for it! They are destroying the club we all love so much!”

@NaithFairBro

“We’re a bottom half team, managed by a bottom half coach”

@mitch_fretton

@SpursOfficial Please get Kane and Nuno out, neither wants to be here”

@samgdf

“It’s crazy. I’m sorry but losing 4 London Derby’s in a row would be a sackable offence, literally we only have Brentford to play left”

@RheaSolarin

“How can levy say all that stuff about the DNA for ages and let this man keep his job. Not even that, why did he pick Nuno?”

@Luke24823

“Abysmal”

@Itsbrill

After making 11 changes during their midweek Conference League defeat to Vitesse Arnhem, Nuno’s side will devastated to lose a second successive match in all competitions and the defeat against David Moyes side marks a fifth successive Premier League London derby defeat, a stat which will gravely concern Lilywhites fans.

Spurs will be looking to return to winning ways in the league when they host Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United next Saturday evening in the Premier League.
