A whole host of Sheffield United fans are furious on Twitter following the club’s latest ticket information.

The Blades have seen their campaign become very hit and miss, with three wins and then five losses and three draws in the Championship – and the majority of those defeats coming away from home, having won just the once against Hull City on their travels.

Amid a poor campaign thus far, with Sheffield United gearing up for a derby match against rivals Barnsley away from home, despite their ticket allocation being increased from 2,070 to 4,108, a lot of the fans aren’t happy with the way this issue has been handled by the club, as a number of fans have had to enter via a ballot, which seemingly closed early.

A lot of Blades fans are very angry on Twitter with this latest ticket news.

What have these Sheffield United fans been saying?

“What a farce!! If I see any1 in west stand I’ll be fuming!!”

@samanthaskidm10

“his has been handled atrociously initial allocation sold with loyalty pts told no more tickets. then this impossible ballot that was open til 10th, that closed within 12hrs. then you magiced up another 2,100. but not available to loyalty point holders”

@SufcLee

“This is a nightmare. So >50% going to ballot whilst 45k+ loyalty point potentially miss out?!”

@bladesman5

“That’s gonna sting those with 40k+ points a bit. But in theory I guess SUFC are thinking those who wanted to go would’ve entered the ballot. Albeit the ballot window was shorter than normal.”

@RHJS5

“Thought ballot was suspended?”

@taylorsufc

“Ballot was unavailable for me”

An easy one to kick off our quiz on the 2020 summer transfer window in the EFL, which player left Birmingham City to join Borussia Dortmund?

With this fixture being an away match, Blades fans may not hold out much hope for a positive result given their poor form on the road this term, although their rivals are currently languishing at the wrong end of the table in 22nd having won a sole league game all season.
