Queens Park Rangers fans have been reacting to news that has come out about some upcoming fixtures of theirs.

Mark Warburton’s men have certainly made an impressive start to the season as they currently sit fifth in the Championship table, and with a total of 44 goals scored and conceded in their 13 games so far, the most combined total of anyone in the division, it’s fair to say that they’ve made an entertaining start as well.

And with that entertainment factor comes the pull of TV companies hoping for a thrilling game. It’s no surprise, then, to see that the club have been selected for two games on TV in the month of December, with their games at home to Stoke City and away to Sheffield United now being shown on Sky Sports.

The news was relayed to fans on Twitter by the club’s account, where there were plenty of fans who seemed incredibly frustrated to hear the news about the changes:

“I hope someone brings this up on the fans forum evening. No Saturday 3pm home kick-off in 2 and half months is a joke. Ruining weekends constantly”

“Absolute ridiculous. Blackpool, Derby and Sheffield all ruined as good away trips! No sat game again! A joke”
“This is starting to get ludicrous. Sky absolutely killing Saturday football.”
“We are hugely popular this season, no wonder.”
“Consequences of playing entertaining football.”
“Both sheff and derby away on a Monday night hahahahha sky tv can get in the bin”

Will QPR make the playoffs this season?

It’s frustration which you can understand, especially the midweek trip to Sheffield United which might put some people off, but if they win, then the inconvenience will probably be forgotten.
