The 25-year-old has struggled for game time over the last couple of seasons with the midfielder making just 15 appearances last campaign in the Premier League.

Spurs fans flooded to Twitter to share their frustrations with the Spurs man despite it being the midfielder who opened the scoring from the penalty spot.

What did these fans have to say?

“dele is finished, im afraid”

“dele isat even a championship level player lol “
“dele in shambles”
“Dele Alli robbing a living”
“Dele is heartbreakingly bad at football now.’
Watched #Dele for 10 minutes and it’s painful to see. A shadow of his former self”

The Englishman only lasted 45 minutes on Sunday in Tottenham’s embarrassing 3-1 defeat against their north London rivals, Arsenal, with Oliver Skipp coming on in his place at the break.

Although Spurs sealed all three points on the night, it seems frustrations among the fans are running high with Dele Alli after what they felt to be another below-par performance.

It’s the laziness that gets me, he just won’t put in a shift for the team. Sad but he has to go, can’t afford to play players with that attitude, probably the same reason for Ndombele, they’re just too lazy. We need a team of workers.
