Image for Celtic: Fans react to Albian Ajeti image

Celtic fans on Twitter have been reacting to a recently emerged image of Hoops striker Albian Ajeti.

This comes after Celtic journalist @TheRyanMcGinlay shared a post on his Twitter page that contained an image of Ajeti from a recent Celtic training session ahead of the club’s upcoming SPFL clash against Ross County on Saturday.

Celtic shared footage of the team in training prior to this weekend’s game on social media, which included the Swiss forward preparing for action.

In the caption to his post, McGinlay said that this is “the best shape” that he has ever seen the striker and that the match against Ross County is his “big chance to impress.”

This post then grabbed the attention of a number of Hoops supporters who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on the matter.

So, what did these Celtic fans have to say in response to this post about Ajeti?

“Please be good man, I want him to do so well”

“He looks streamlined and fit”

“My man’s actually shed all his extra beef time for him to shine tomorrow”

“Hat-trick tomorrow”

Hopefully he plays well if he starts but he played his best when he first signed scoring goals while he was 50% fit”

“He needs to start performing or his time will be up like many before him just couldn’t handle being at a club of Celtic’s magnitude unfortunately fingers crossed just doesn’t do enough for me”

Looking at the replies to this post, it seems as though these Celtic fans are hopeful that Ajeti can prove himself on the pitch for the club and show why they decided to sign him in the first place.

Do you think Ajeti can have a good season with Celtic?

However, taking into account how he only managed to score six goals in 30 appearances for the Hoops across all competitions, it’s understandable why some fans may have some doubts about him.

Moving forward, if Ajeti does get the chance to start against Ross County, it will be intriguing to see just how he gets on and whether his performance could have any impact on just how often he’ll end up playing throughout the season.
