Will Celtic win a trophy this season?
They do find themselves in the semi-final of the Premier Sports Cup, however, and having avoided their city rivals in the draw, Celtic will travel to Hamden park to face St Johnstone in what will be a 5:15pm kick off on a Saturday, which has brought about a huge amount of buzz amongst many Celtic fans.
A lot of Celtic fans are delighted on Twitter with this latest information.
What have these Celtic fans had to say?
“Sat night games the stuff we dream off”
“I’ll have some of that.. Tremendous”
“Things you love to see”
“This will be absolutely phenomenal”
Despite Celtic getting geared up to face a St. Johnstone side who have only won once in the league so far this season, they will be no pushover as they’re looking to retain their crown, having won the competition last season.
Celtic will also have the advantage of playing the first of the semi-finals with Rangers set to face Hibernian the following day, which means the pitch will likely be in a better condition for the Bhoys – a huge positive for Postecoglou, who will be looking to reach his first final as Celtic boss.
