Sunderland fans have been reacting to comments made by manager Lee Johnson following their victory over Cheltenham Town last night.
The Black Cats demolished their opponents 5-0 at the Stadium of Light, dominating them from the outset by having 63% possession and having five times as many shots on target as their opponent, as they climbed to the top of the table following Wigan Athletic’s defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
Speaking to the club after the game, Johnson talked about how happy he was, quite understandably, with the team’s display.
Footage of his interview was relayed to the fans via the club’s official Facebook page for them to react to, and there were plenty of them who were more than happy to share their love for the man in charge who has amassed a very impressive record during his time at the club so far:

He certainly has managed to endear himself to the supporters since he was appointed back in December, and after so long in the third tier, you can only imagine how much that love-in is going to increase if he manages to take them up.
