Celtic have managed to bring in seven new players this summer but have had a poor start to their season having been knocked out of the Champions League qualifying rounds by FC Midtjylland before losing the opening game of their domestic campaign 2-1 away to Hearts.

A lot of Celtic fans have reacted positively on Twitter to Postecoglou’s comments.

What have these Celtic fans been saying?

“Very very encouraging that the club are putting this out”

@DarrenConway16

“Brilliant answers to a lot of questions people wanted answered. It’s ALL about this window and putting together a team to challenge. The footballing structure and the rest can come after that. Maybe people can simmer down a bit now eh”

@nickybhoy7

“I love this man”

@GaryC88

“This is what I like to hear”

@wulwad

“I’m loving big Ange”

@weemisstim

“The more I see the way he handles the questions they throw at him the more confident I am that Ange is the right man for the rebuild. As long as he gets the continued support of board and fans HH”

@jenual67

“FINALLY AN ACTUAL UPDATE THOUGH”

@71niveK

Celtic lost out on the title last season, so it’s obvious what Postecoglou’s target is for this season: regaining the Scottish league title back off rivals Rangers, who won their opening game of the season.
