A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts at the latest post regarding defender Danny Rose.

The 30-year-old left-back is set to leave the north London club at the end of this month when his contract comes to a conclusion.

Should Spurs give Rose a testimonial game?

Rose has been a Tottenham player for 14 years now having signed in 2007 from Leeds United in a deal believed to be worth in the region of £900k (via Transfermarkt).

The Doncaster-born defender has been out on loan to a number of clubs during his time at Spurs, however, he has still been able to make 214 appearances for the Lilywhites (via Transfermarkt).

With his departure at the end of the month getting ever closer, the north London club tweeted out a video interview with the left-back, who showed his love for the club and fans flocked in response.

What exactly did these Spurs fans have to say?

“This broke my heart”

“Finally! Thank you Danny!”

Rose spent the second half of the 2019/20 season out on loan at Newcastle United where he made 13 appearances, however, since returning to Spurs he has only featured for the side (via Transfermarkt).

Going by the reaction of these Spurs fans it is clear that despite his lack of game time in recent years, Rose is a greatly appreciated figure at the north London club and one they will sorely miss around the club.
