Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest news surrounding Ange Postecoglou.
This comes after Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing that Postecoglou has “verbally agreed personal terms with Celtic to become their new manager.”
Joseph also added that Celtic “hope to have the former Australia boss signed and through quarantine in time for their training camp in Wales.”
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Celtic fans who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on this latest development.
So, what did these Celtic fans have to say in response to Joseph’s news about Postecoglou?
“Verbal agreement. Been there before haven’t we and the use of the word hope as well. The circus continues”
“My fear is near”
“Oh dear. We have gone from the slow lane to a permanent stall. Shambles”
“Verbally agreed, so nothing definite, still time for this to hopefully fall through.”
“I’ve got the fear.”
Looking at the replies to this post, it seems that these Celtic fans are not particularly excited by Joseph’s claim that the club now have a verbal agreement with Postecoglou to become their new permanent manager.
Are you confident Postecoglou could be a good fit for Celtic?
However, considering the fact that the club’s “lengthy quest” to appoint Eddie Howe broke down recently, it’s no surprise to see that these Celtic fans are feeling rather sceptical about the club’s reported agreement for Postecoglou, who clearly appears to be their Plan B.
