West Bromwich Albion fans have been reacting to news regarding Valérien Ismaël and his choices when it comes to his backroom staff at The Hawthorns.
The Frenchman has been in charge for a little under a week and has already begun work in tweaking the setup at the club to the way he likes it. Not only is he reportedly close to his first signing in the form of Alex Mowatt from his former club Barnsley, but he is also making decisions when it comes to his backroom staff as well.
According to a report in The Express and Star, “it is understood Ismael is hoping to add at least two more coaches to his staff to support him and club legend James Morrison.”
The former midfielder racked up 341 appearances for the Baggies during his playing career before being appointed to the first-team coaching staff last December, so if there’s anyone that knows the club and can help integrate Ismaël into his new surroundings, it’s Morrison.
This news was relayed to fans via @WBAReport on social media where there were plenty of supporters that were delighted to hear the news that Morrison looked set to stay during the shakeup of the club:
