West Bromwich Albion fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest transfer news to emerge concerning the Midlands club.

This comes after Baggies news Twitter account @WBAReport shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in an article from The Athletic by James Pearce.

The article claims that West Brom have “registered their interest” in signing Liverpool winger Harry Wilson this summer.

It also claimed that the Merseyside club feel that a fee of £13 million is “realistic given Wilson’s further development over the course of last season.”

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Baggies fans, who were not shy in airing their thoughts on this latest claim.

So, what did these West Brom fans have to say in response to this claim linking the club with a move for Wilson?

“Oooo would be a good signing tbf”

@chelseea_leaah

“Wouldnt be a bad signing this”

@Nathanhackwoodx

“please to God let this be true. Phillips isn’t doing it for me anymore so this is a massive upgrade, young, agile and can make things happen”

@bryngill16

“This would be a top signing. Get it done.”

@BiffyBoy1982

“Always rated him. Seeing as we paid so much for Grady and Grant I think £10-13m would be a good deal”

@JDWBA2

“Class player – seen him on loan at Derby & Cardiff, set piece specialist too”

@trussellgeorge

Looking at the replies to this post, it seems that these West Brom fans would be very happy to see their club potentially make a move for Wilson this summer.

With the 24-year-old having played more games in the Championship (90) than any other league he’s played in throughout his career, scoring 29 goals and providing 19 assists in the process, it’s easy to see why these West Brom fans think he could be a good fit for them.

Would you like to see West Brom sign Harry Wilson this summer?

In our view, with Matheus Pereira being linked with a move away from The Hawthorns this summer, Wilson could potentially be seen as a suitable replacement for the Brazilian if he were to leave.
