Nice easy one to start off with. How much do you think Declan Rice is worth?

West Ham currently have five first-team centre-backs with Fabian Balbuena set to depart – while David Moyes reportedly wants a new central defender.

The 23-year-old Serbian centre-back, who is valued at £22.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), has been linked with a move to the London Stadium, and it seems as if the Hammers are interested in bringing him in.

However, they have not made a solid bid for Milenkovic yet, according to Ex.

He said: “There’s loads of targets that they’re working out the best deal for, particularly at centre-back, and there’s a couple of Serbians that are in the mix.

“The latest is a guy called Milenkovic from Fiorentina. There is interest in him, but I don’t think they’ve put any concrete offer in for him at all, but he is on the potential radar.”

Would you be happy with Milenkovic?

TIF Thoughts on Milenkovic…

Last season, the Serbian international made 34 appearances for his side in the league and averaged a WhoScored rating of 6.79.

This would have ranked him in eighth place in the Hammers’ squad and would have made him West Ham’s best centre-back.

The 23-year-old also made an average of 1.4 tackles and 1.3 interceptions per game, which would have ranked him in sixth place and fifth place respectively.

So the statistics stack up for Milenkovic, and given that he is just 23, he would add a bit of youth to the Hammers’ defence as well.

Therefore, there are many reasons why Milenkovic would be a good signing for West Ham, and we will be intrigued to see if they make a move.
