West Brom fans have been responding to the latest news of reports surrounding the club’s search for a new manager.

This comes after West Brom reporter for the Express and Star, Joseph Masi, tweeted that interviews for the vacant role of WBA manager have been completed and that Chris Wilder remains a ‘front runner’ despite a report earlier in the week suggesting that the Baggies had ‘called off’ plans to make Wilder their new manager.

Masi’s post gathered a number of responses from West Brom fans seeking more news ahead of the appointment of their new manager.

The responses suggest that WBA fans are eagerly awaiting the appointment of their new manager with many seemingly hoping that Wilder is the man who is appointed.

Wilder has been without a job since being sacked by Sheffield United in March but amid links with the West Brom job, it appears some West Brom fans believe that his appointment would be a no-brainer for The Baggies.

However, reports over the weekend suggested that current Lincoln City boss Michael Appleton, who was formerly caretaker boss at West Brom in 2011, is also a frontrunner for the job after getting the Imps to the League One play-off final this season.
