However, it has now emerged that Lazio are becoming anxious over the possible appointment of Maurizio Sarri, with the manager taking time to reflect on the decision – with the Spurs vacancy potentially the reason, according to Italian outlet Il Messaggero.
Sarri has previously managed Tottenham’s London rivals Chelsea, but Spurs fans flocked to a tweet from The Spurs Express relaying the claims from the Italian outlet to show their delight.
