A lot of Celtic fans have taken to Facebook to hail the latest transfer claim to emerge regarding the Liverpool midfielder, Xherdan Shaqiri.
According to Football Insider, the Swiss midfielder has instructed his agent to find him a new club ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

And in an interview with Football Insider, Kevin Phillips has insisted the 29-year-old would make a good signing for the Hoops this summer.
Shaqiri joined Liverpool from Stoke City in 2018 but has struggled for game time this season with just 13 appearances to his name in the Premier League (via Transfermarkt).
In response to the Facebook post relaying Phillips’ comments, Celtic fans flocked to give their thoughts on the idea of Shaqiri potentially joining the Bhoys in the summer.
In Liverpool’s last five Premier League game, the Switzerland international has only featured for one minute and just 90 minutes over the three games prior (via Transfermarkt).
Going by the reaction of these Celtic fans it is apparent they would very much welcome a move for Shaqiri this season with the midfielder able to offer them a wealth of Premier League experience.
