Leeds United fans have been reacting to team news coming out from their opponents Burnley this weekend.

The Whites travel to Turf Moor in a game that doesn’t mean a lot for either team given their positions in the table, with the home side safe from relegation and Leeds looking to secure a top-half finish.

Burnley could be going into the game without their first-choice goalkeeper Nick Pope with the club confirming that he is still dealing with ‘a couple of niggles’ in his shoulder and knee.

Can you remember where Leeds finished in these league seasons? First up: 2018/19

And if he isn’t ready to go, that means that Leeds would have to face their former player Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who signed for the Clarets in the summer of 2019 following 41 appearances at the club.

News which was relayed to the fans on social media by @JoeDonnohue and @AlexJamesSport where there were a lot of nerves flying around as they believed him playing would come back to haunt them:

“10/10 performance incoming for BPF then”

“Incoming: MOTM performance”
“You know he’ll have a worldy against us”
“Oh no prime Canizares incoming”
“BPF to turn into prime Buffon this weekend”
“He’d pull out Neuer performances against us”
“Advantage Burnley”
