Newcastle United fans on Twitter have been sharing their criticism for Jacob Murphy and his latest performance for the Tyneside club during their dramatic 4-3 defeat against Manchester City.

Goals from Emil Krafth, Joelinton and Joe Willock were not enough for Steve Bruce’s side to claim all three points against Pep Guardiola’s newly crowned champions with Ferran Torres managing to score a hat-trick on top of a goal from Joao Cancelo.

Newcastle's all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Alan Shearer but how many goals did he score for the club?

During the game, Murphy’s performance, in particular, caught the attention of a lot of Newcastle fans, but for all the wrong reasons.

This led to lots of Toon supporters flying to Twitter to share their thoughts on the 26-year-old’s display.

So, what did these Newcastle fans have to say about Murphy’s performance against Man City?
