How much do you think members of the Bhoys' squad are worth according to Transfermarkt? Starting with an easy one how much do you think Odsonne Edouard is worth?

It has been reported that Celtic are set to enter discussions with Italian club AC Milan over the permanent transfer of Diego Laxalt this summer with the Uruguayan having spent the season on loan at the Parkhead club.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Celtic fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest update.

So, what did these Celtic fans have to say in response to this latest transfer news concerning Laxalt?

“no no no no”

@Aidan_Celtic

“Noooooooooooooooo”

@EddieMa12080010

“Hope not. Id have greg taylor over him every week.”

@KimWrongYin

“Why though Taylor is so clear of this fraud”

@yeyup67

“Not shown enough to merit a transfer fee imo. Definitely shouldn’t be offering contracts to players without appointing a manager/DoF first”

@Ryu369k

“Not for me.”

@KevMurrayOff

So far this season, Laxalt has made 24 appearances for Celtic across all competitions, scoring one goal in the process (per Transfermarkt).

Would you like to see Laxalt sign to Celtic permanently?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these Celtic fans don’t want to see their club try and sign Laxalt, who is currently valued at £3.6 million, on a permanent deal this summer.

Given how the 28-year-old has only managed to earn himself a fairly uninspiring season rating of 6.82/10 for his performances in the SPFL so far this season, making him one of Celtic’s lowest-rated defenders for the season, it’s understandable why these Hoops fans aren’t particularly desperate to see him stay at the club beyond his current loan deal.
