This video caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who made their opinion clear about Cole’s challenge on Frimpong.
What did Celtic fans make of this video involving Devante Cole’s challenge on Jeremie Frimpong?
Had the tackle been any firmer, that could’ve been a career ender. Shocker of a challenge and so bad I’m not sure why the 4th official never offered any assistance or advice to son of Hugh. ?????

Do you think Devante Cole deserved a red card?
Yes
No
@bhoywonder1983 that’s a career ender

That is embarrassing and should be dragged up by every sports commentator as to on what planet was that not a red card

Any other game this would be a straight red. Shocking decision from Dallas but then again I’m not surprised he never gave it https://t.co/GkOXtA2cl4

Absolutely disgusting from Andrew Dallas of @scottishfa Either a cheat, incompetent, or both. https://t.co/YXkQSHhCZ8

Red card all day long. Dallas is the quintessential cheat – should not be refereeing at any level.

Terrible challenge had it been the other way round we all know the card would have been red

Sportscene pundit Michael Stewart has also talked about Cole’s challenge and he believes that it deserved a red card. Marvin Bartley also believes that Cole should’ve been sent off for that tackle and it was ‘far too dangerous’ (as per the Daily Record).
Neil Lennon has already issued an update about Frimpong and he believes that Cole’s challenge could’ve caused ligament damage to the youngster (as per Herald Scotland).
Some other Celtic fans were also fuming at this challenge and they believe that it should have been a red card.
Disgraceful tackle and worse officiating. Please can anyone explain why this is a yellow.

That’s a red card all day.

Shocking is that not a red card ref is a disgrace??

Frimpong couldn’t complete the game on Sunday and he was taken off by Lennon in the 70th minute of the game, as Hatem Abd Elhamed had replaced him (as per WhoScored).
Lennon said that Cole’s tackle was ‘high and late’ and it left Frimpong in a lot of discomfort. This clearly suggests that it wasn’t a good tackle at all and fans are clearly angry. It remains to be seen if any action is taken against Cole in the near future.
