What did Celtic fans make of Trevor Sinclair’s suggestion?
I get where your coming from but I think I might be in the minority who thinks the legend that is Neil Lennon deserves the chance to turn things around. Treble coming up Trevor & we’ll kick on. Vital players to comeback & a transfer window ?

Aye cos that’s a massive improvement on lennon, he’s got a bit of passion sure but he’s absolutely nowhere near good enough to be managing celtic

Di Canio had played for Celtic for a single season. He had joined the club from AC Milan and left Parkhead to join Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer. He had previously plied his trade with Juventus, Napoli and Lazio (as per Transfermarkt).
For Celtic, Di Canio had scored 15 goals in 37 games and finished the campaign by winning the PFA Scotland Players’ Player of the Year award (as per TalkSport).
Some other Celtic fans also flocked to Sinclair’s comment about Di Canio.
Normally on board with your opinions on TS and twitter but definitely not sure about this one .

His politics isn’t welcome at Celtic Park.

These Celtic fans clearly don’t want Di Canio to manage Celtic for different reasons.
During his stint at Sunderland, Di Canio’s rants in the media had created a negative atmosphere at the club. He would often publicly criticise the club’s players too. As a result, his position at the Stadium of Light had become ‘untenable’.
Because of that and since he’s yet to manage a club since 2013, perhaps Celtic shouldn’t look to appoint him as their manager.
