Fans of Celtic have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Stephen McGowan provides an update on the club’s transfer activity.
According to the journalist, the arrival of Diego Laxalt on a loan deal is ‘likely to be it’ for Celtic’s summer transfer activity, with McGowan also stating that the club will not be signing Harry Wilson and that there looks to be ‘no big departures’ heading out of the club.
In reaction to this news, fans of Celtic have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing delighted by the fact that it does not seem likely any of their star men will be leaving the club.

As these Celtic fans state, the fact that McGowan believes there to be no big departures from the club prior to the transfer window closing at 23:00 is extremely good news for the club, as Odsonne Edouard, who has scored 66 goals and provided 32 assists over his 136 appearances for the club since his £9.27 million move from Paris Saint-Germain back in 2018, had been heavily linked with a move away from Glasgow.
Do you think Edouard staying at Celtic would all but secure 10 in a row?
Yes
No
However, it would appear, should McGowan be believed, that the £13.5 million-rated 22-year-old will be staying at Celtic for the foreseeable future, something which has delighted many more Celtic fans, who took to Twitter to share their joy.

All in all, it would appear that the majority of these Celtic fans are delighted with the fact it looks as if their summer transfer business appears to be concluded, as it means that players such as Edouard will be staying with the club for a little while longer yet.
