Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to some reported news on Christian Eriksen which suggests that Inter have offered Tottenham Hotspur the chance to re-sign him on loan.
According to Football Insider (via The Spurs Express), the Lilywhites have been offered the chance to re-sign the Danish international on loan before the transfer window shuts this evening.
The former Ajax man completed a move to the Serie A side in January but doesn’t look to have settled particularly well with Antonio Conte’s side, having made 28 appearances in all competitions thus far, contributing four goals and three assists (per Transfermarkt).
The report suggests that I Nerazzurri are keen to trim their wage bill and have offered several Premier League sides the opportunity to sign the 28-year-old on loan, and are also willing to pay half of his £200,000 weekly salary.
During his time with Tottenham, the creative midfielder contributed an impressive 69 goals and 89 assists in 305 appearances (per Transfermarkt).

Overall, it seems clear that a lot of Spurs fans would love to see Eriksen back at the club on loan, especially if he could rediscover the impressive form he consistently showed throughout his time with the North London club.
