Many Celtic fans have been discussing the latest tweet that the Daily Record recently relayed on social media.
Steven Naismith was recently talking to BBC Sportsound (via Daily Record) and he talked about potential outgoings for Celtic before the transfer window slams shut.
Naismith believes that if Celtic don’t qualify for the group stages of the Europa League, one or two players could leave the club.
He said that Celtic have shown in the past that when they don’t make it to the group stages of the European competitions, they end up selling players.
A tweet about this was relayed on Twitter by the Daily Record. It caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who made their negative opinion very clear.

Pathetic journalism

Odsonne Edouard has been linked with a move to Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion. Kristoffer Ajer has also been linked with a move to Milan.
Midfielder Olivier Ntcham has drawn links with a move to Southampton and West Bromwich Albion. Not just that, but Burnley have been linked with a move for Ryan Christie as well.
Despite the fact that multiple Celtic players have been linked with moves away from the club, Naismith’s comments left many other Hoops fans angry.
And why on earth would ex-Rangers player Steven Naismith know what’s going on at CP??

Why was he asked for his opinion? ?

Clearly, these Celtic fans don’t like what Naismith had to say and they don’t want to take his comments seriously.
Considering that multiple Celtic players have been linked with Parkhead exits though, one can see why Naismith believes that some players could still depart the club.
To increase the possibility of the players staying, the Hoops might have to beat Sarajevo on Thursday to reach the group stages of the Europa League.
