Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet that the club relayed on social media recently.
The club’s latest tweet carried some quotes from Celtic boss Neil Lennon, who said that it was ‘important’ for him to rotate the squad against St. Mirren and there is a ‘big game’ coming up for them against Livingston at the weekend. If they win that game, they will go to the top of the league.
He described the win at St. Mirren as a ‘good night’s work’. This tweet from the club caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who weren’t happy with Lennon’s team selection on Wednesday.
Just rotate yourself and walk out the door Neil

Was Neil Lennon right to rotate the team against St. Mirren?
Yes
No
You said after the weekends game you wanted to keep the team consistent now you want to change it. Get a grip man. We win 5-0 keep the same team together why break up a winning squad.

Neil they are paid handsomely to play for us and should be motivated with or without being rotated

The Hoops had rotated their squad a fair bit on Wednesday. While Albian Ajeti, Olivier Ntcham and Christopher Jullien all started at Ross County, Patryk Klimala, Ryan Christie and Hatem Abd Elhamed were among those brought in to the midweek lineup.
Some other Celtic fans were also not happy with Lennon’s rotation policy.
Important to rotate? Why keep playing a 35 year old in midfield then! https://t.co/A5u3aLjESw

But in a game that lacked creativity you won’t rotate a 35 year old holding midfielder that’s started every single game while one of the most creative midfielders in the league sits in the stands.

Brown and Forrest are the oldest outfield players. If this is about keeping players fresh, why did they play? Frimpong needs rested more than Brown?

While Celtic fans are not happy about how Lennon rotated the team, the Hoops have important games against Rangers and Hibernian coming up in the next few weeks. They also play a Europa League qualifying game taking place next Thursday.
Because of that, the team may need adequate rotation to make sure that Celtic have their best players fit. More than anything, Celtic managed to beat St. Mirren anyway, so the rotation policy clearly had the desired effect for Lennon.
