Fans of Celtic have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Paddy McCourt retweeted footage of what is supposedly his first goal for the club.
The footage, which was originally posted by Li’l Ze on Twitter, showed McCourt picking the ball up in his own half, before dribbling past a number of opposition players and lifting the ball over the top of an onrushing goalkeeper to score a lovely goal.
After McCourt quote-tweeted this footage, fans of Celtic flocked to have their say on the matter, with many sharing some of their memories of the winger’s time at the club, while others simply praised the goal itself.

McCourt joined Celtic from Derry City in what was a £243k deal back in 2008, and went on to feature 88 times for the Hoops, scoring 10 goals and providing nine assists along the way.
The winger won two Scottish Premiership titles, as well as two Scottish Cups over his five years in Glasgow, before leaving for Barnsley on a free transfer in 2013.
