Supporters of Celtic have been flocking to a Twitter post from the Hoops’ latest signing Shane Duffy.
On Wednesday morning, it was revealed that the Irish central defender had moved to Celtic Park from Brighton & Hove Albion (per BBC).
The deal which has sealed his switch to Scotland from the south coast of England is a season-long loan move.
Following the switch, Duffy posted to social media to air his delight over the loan move to Parkhead and he stated it was his ‘dream’ to play for Celtic (per Shane Duffy).
Lots of Hoops fans then flocked to the post from the defender to air their thoughts.

A recent report from the Daily Record had stated that the Hoops and Premier League outfit West Ham United were the two ‘likeliest’ clubs to seal Duffy’s arrival this summer.
Alongside the two clubs, it was also stated that West Bromwich Albion and Burnley were keen on signing Duffy.

During the most recent Premier League season, Duffy was Brighton’s joint-fifth-best performer as he earned a respectable 6.71/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
