This comes after Hay shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing that the Yorkshire club have signed 17-year-old goalkeeper, Dani van den Heuvel.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest move from the club.
Here’s a sample of Leeds fans responding to the post from Hay:

I like that they’re signing youth. These could well be the next gems for the future and with Leeds having them under contract it can definitely work.

Kiko must be off I reckon

According to the official Leeds club website, the 17-year-old has signed a three-year deal at Elland Road, joining Leeds from Dutch side Ajax, where he had been since 2017 after he moved from ADO Den Haag. They also added that the goalkeeper has won caps for the Netherlands at youth level and will initially join the U23 squad at Leeds.
Buzzing at how strong our 23s/21s is looking but I am a tad concerned at the first team atm. Is anything remotely close on that front?

Are you pleased with this latest signing from Leeds?
Yes
No
This iS good strategy. Obviously we need some first team signings and MB, but we’ve really strengthened the chasing pack this summer. A year of Bielsa coaching, they will be ready to be unleashed on the world. Most will improve greatlyboth as footballers and financial assets.

It appears that this announcement from Hay has caused quite a stir with this group of Leeds fans who seem to have differing opinions on this latest signing from the club.
In our opinion, it’s good to see Leeds signing a youth player, as it shows that the club are focused on improving their youth teams and focusing on helping their younger players develop at the club.
Hopefully, the young goalkeeper will go on to have a big future at Leeds and maybe one day can become their regular first-team shot-stopper.
Having said this, with the Whites getting ready for their 2020/21 Premier League campaign, it is no wonder some of these Leeds fans were responding to Hay’s post saying they want to see the club bring in some first-team players for next season.
