Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet that Shane Duffy recently relayed on social media.
Duffy has been linked with a move to Celtic in recent weeks and it has been reported that he is a Hoops fan as well. He has also been linked with Premier League side West Ham United.
A West Ham-related Twitter account recently commented on a tweet from Duffy, posting a couple of images.
The first image was a screenshot of an Instagram story that Duffy had posted, in which he had tagged one of his friends.
The second picture was an Instagram conversation with the same person who was tagged by Duffy. He revealed that the defender ‘wants to’ go to West Ham.
Duffy himself replied to this tweet, saying that he ‘wouldn’t listen to a word he says’ and the tweet even carried a laughing emoji. The Brighton and Hove Albion defender’s tweet caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who made their opinions very clear about the 28-year-old.

While West Ham, West Bromwich Albion and Burnley have been linked with a move for Duffy, the Republic of Ireland man has been reported to have already spoken to Neil Lennon about joining Celtic on a one-year loan deal.
Some other Bhoys fans also made it clear that they would like the 28-year-old to join Celtic.

All in all, these Celtic fans would surely like it if Duffy ends up at Parkhead this summer. Neil Lennon has already confirmed the club’s interest in signing the Brighton man and that should come as good news for Celtic fans.
With it being reported that Duffy is a Hoops fan, in addition to the fact he is ‘keen’ on a move to Celtic Park this summer, everything sounds pretty encouraging for Celtic fans, especially since Duffy seems to be playing down the idea of joining West Ham in his tweet.
