Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to an announcement regarding season tickets for next season.
A link to a post on Leeds’ club website was shared to social media by the Twitter account @EllandRoad.
In the post on the club’s website, it was revealed that no new season tickets would be available to purchase for the club’s return to the Premier League.
The post also detailed how current season ticket holders can renew their tickets and that supporters who would like a season ticket can join a waiting list for £10.
Lots of Leeds supporters then flocked to this post once it had been shared to social media by @EllandRoad.
? #LUFC launch Season Ticket Waiting List, with priority to 2019/20 Gold Members who attended nine or more home league games

Disgraceful this, what about those of us that went to 11 home games in the 2001 season?

Easy £100k incoming…

The Whites’ return to the Premier League was confirmed last week following West Bromwich Albion’s 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield Town (per BBC).
Next season will be the Yorkshire outfit’s first season back in the top flight since 2004, which was when they were last relegated from the Premier League (per BBC).
Disapointed in this. I’ve had a season ticket for years, through all the dross and my daughter is finally old enough to come and join me and I cant even add her to the list. I understand its unfair to get her one now but we should be able to add a family member to the list. ????

Went to 8 home games had Luton ticket but doesn’t count so disappointing.

Despite Marcelo Bielsa’s side ending their 16-year absence from the apex of English football, it seemed that many were frustrated with the update on season tickets.
Are you frustrated with Leeds' update regarding season tickets?
No, makes no difference
Yes, it's very disappointing
Great. I used to live 200 miles away and was a season ticket holder a few years ago, regularly attend home games and would go away if I could get a ticket. Have supported the club for 45 years but I can’t join the waiting list today!

feel like the loyalty should be for those that have had a membership for 16yrs, been to many, many league one games, and stuck by the club…rather than those that returned in the last 12mths. Gutted to be one game short of loyalty & Luton ticket not counting 🙁

As can be seen in these responses from Leeds fans, many supporters were seemingly frustrated with the parameters which were set for joining the waiting list.
