Some Leeds United fans have been reacting to a tweet that was recently posted by Whites news Twitter account @LeedsUnitedYEP that included a link to an article from the Yorkshire Evening Post which shares an update on Blackburn Rovers’ ‘injury woes.’

This article from the Yorkshire Evening Post revealed that Blackburn are set to go into this weekend’s game against Leeds United without Bradley Dack, Amari’i Bell, Derrick Williams, Corry Evans, and Joe Rankin-Costello, all of whom will be ‘sidelined through injury’ for Rovers’ upcoming clash.

In addition to that, this article explained that Ben Brereton will miss his side’s upcoming clash with the Whites due to suspension, while ‘there are also concerns over midfielders Joe Rothwell and Lewis Travis’ for Rovers heading into this weekend’s fixture.

The Yorkshire Evening Post also included some comments from Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray that were originally shared via Blackburn’s official website. The manager is quoted as saying: “We’ve got seven starters unavailable to us at the moment.”

After this article was shared on Twitter by @LeedsUnitedYEP, plenty of Whites supporters responded to this post to share their thoughts on the injury update.

Some Leeds fans replied to this post to share that they don’t believe Mowbray’s comments about having “seven starters unavailable” for this weekend’s clash with Leeds, with some indicating that they believe that Mowbray is playing mind games.

Nice easy one to start. Who is this current Leeds man?

Do you think that Tony Mowbray is playing mind games?

Meanwhile, some Whites fans replied to this post to share that they would be less confident in their team’s ability to win this match against an understrength Blackburn side.

As per WhoScored, Leeds United have had a positive record against Blackburn Rovers in their most recent meetings. The Whites have won five of their last six against Rovers in all competitions. With that in mind, as well as the fact that Leeds currently sit at the top of the Championship table, 19 points ahead of Rovers, the Whites may have enough quality to get the job done this Saturday regardless of any mind games.
