Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Phil Hay shares footage from the build-up to Thursday’s fixture against Barnsley, which shows Kiko Casilla with the Leeds squad.

The footage, which was posted by the official Leeds United Twitter account, shows the players arriving at the stadium prior to their fixture against Barnsley.

Nice easy one to start off with, from which club did Leeds sign Hernandez?

However, Casilla is also in the footage, with this being the first game the ‘keeper is available for selection after an eight-game suspension was handed to him after an independent FA regulatory commission found the 33-year-old to have racially abused Charlton’s Jonathan Leko during a game last September.

Phil Hay then shared the footage, before adding the comment: “Casilla is here.”

In reaction, fans of Leeds flocked to have their say on the matter, with many airing their outrage that the ‘keeper is with the squad.

Despite the fact that the ‘keeper had impressed for the Championship table-toppers so far this season in conceding just 30 goals and keeping 15 clean sheets over his 35 Championship appearances so far this term, we have to say, it is pleasing to see so many of the Leeds fans sharing their negative opinions on the ‘keeper potentially playing for the club again, as there is no place in football – nor indeed in everyday life – for the kind of vile remarks made by the Spaniard towards Leko.

Would you want to see Kiko Casilla ever play for Leeds again?

In our opinion, with Leeds on course to secure promotion to the Premier League this season, it would be a shame to blemish the feel-good factor of the club at present by including Casilla in the squad.
