Nice easy one to start off with, from which club did Leeds sign Hernandez?

After the match, many Leeds fans took to Twitter to share their praise for the 35-year-old.

Here’s a sample of Leeds fans praising Hernandez:

Hernandez first signed to the club on a loan deal back in August 2016 from Al Arabi. In the 2017 January transfer window, Leeds signed him on a permanent deal (per Transfermarkt)

Overall, Hernandez has made a total of 154 appearances for Leeds, in which he has managed to score 34 goals and provide 37 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

The attacker, who is valued at £1.08 million (as per Transfermarkt), came on as a substitute at half time at Elland Road against Stoke and in the second half, Hernandez picked up a goal and an assist to help secure all three points for Marcelo Bielsa’s side. The Spaniard assisted Liam Cooper’s goal to put Leeds three goals to the good before adding Leeds’ fourth of the game himself (per WhoScored).

Should Pablo Hernandez start in Leeds' next match?

For this cameo performance, Hernandez earned himself a match rating of 8.35/10, making him the fourth-highest-rated Leeds player that made an appearance in the match.

It appears that Hernandez’s performance in the second half of the match at Elland Road has delighted a lot of Leeds fans. Given how he managed to score a goal and grab himself an assist, it’s no surprise that these Leeds fans have been singing his praises on Twitter.

This latest win saw Leeds head back to the top of the Championship table on 81 points with 42 matches played, moving them a step closer to promotion.
