Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from the Scottish club.
The official Celtic Twitter account shared a post on their page that contained a link to an article on their website revealing that the club’s ‘Pass To Paradise’ platform was ‘a huge success’.
The article claims that ‘almost 50,000 Season Ticket holders successfully logged on to the ‘Pass To Paradise’ platform’ to watch Celtic beat Ross County 2-0 in their latest pre-season match.
This victory was ‘the first of two test matches where Season Ticket holders were encouraged to log in and test their credentials and connections to the ‘Pass To Paradise’, the virtual element of the 2020/21 Season Ticket’.
Celtic’s Twitter page captioned their post thanking the fans who took part in the scheme.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Celtic fans, who were quick to share their responses to this post.
Here’s a sample of Celtic fans responding to the tweet:
?We would like to thank everyone who took the time to login and watch the match with us today.https://t.co/PMdGC4AImO

Worked fine, I assume all other games will too, JP adamant 30k got on perfectly fine and had no issues, good start for the first test.

An early own goal from Coll Donaldson saw Neil Lennon’s side take the lead at Celtic Park before Mohamed Elyounoussi doubled the champions’ lead in their latest pre-season match.
Perfect picture, sound and no buffering, cheers Celtic ????

Now that the club have shared this post on their page thanking their fans for taking part and claiming that it was a big success, this sparked a big reaction on Twitter, with lots of Celtic fans popping up with their thoughts on how the process went for them.
However, there were some other Celtic fans responding to the post who were not impressed with the process and didn’t see it as the success the club had claimed it to be.
?a huge success? It was a disaster. I and thousands of others missed the first 35 mins. You had to put the game on YouTube because it was a monumental failure. Also coverage was 45 seconds delayed and quality of stream was poor. Any chance that we can get 1080 picture?

A huge success ?!? You’re having a laugh!

I was actually expecting to come on and see an apology for that 2day. That tweet is a total embarrassment…

You really need to up your game. You’ve had a lot of goodwill, I.e money from the supporters. You can’t treat Celtic TV like an afterthought , now that that’s the only way we have of seeing the games. Sort it out before next game.

Did you use the Pass to Paradise platform?
Yes
No
A huge success??? ? Tens of thousands couldn’t login. The tweet should read, we apologise to the thousands who couldn’t login because our setup is a shambles. Take some time away from counting the season ticket money and get it fixed.

I logged in and got booted out , I eventually got back in 27th minute by then Celtic are 2-0 up . I watched the game up till the 76th minute and it kept on freezing on me till the end. I’m no happy to be honest.

It appears that plenty of Celtic fans had issues with the ‘Pass To Paradise’ platform and their ability to watch the match against Ross County.
Hopefully, the club will see these comments from this group of Celtic supporters and start to work on fixing the issues they came up against ahead of the start of the new league season.
