Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest news linking Odsonne Edouard with a move to Leeds United.
The print edition of the Daily Star (via BBC Sport) recently ran a story about Edouard, saying that Leeds are looking to make a move to sign the Frenchman in the summer. It was stated that they would do this if they secure promotion to the Premier League at the end of this season.
BBC Sport relayed this update about the French striker on Twitter. It caught the attention of many Celtic fans and they made their opinion very clear about it. They feel that he wouldn’t move to Elland Road.
He’s way bigger than Leeds.

Does it make sense for Edouard to leave Celtic for Leeds?
No, that is nonsense
Yes, he can play in the Premier League

The Mirror also reported about Leeds’ interest in signing Edouard and they said that Celtic don’t want to lose the striker as they will chase their 10th Premiership title in a row next season. But this will not stop the Whites from trying to lure Edouard to Elland Road.
The tweet from BBC Sport caught the attention of more Celtic fans. They also mocked Leeds and felt that the striker won’t head to the Yorkshire club.
Leeds wouldn’t even get a European spot in Scotland. No chance.

Edouard found the back of the net 27 times in all competitions in the 2019/20 season. As a result, he won the Celtic Player of the Year award as well. It shows how he is a very important player for the Hoops and will be key to helping them win the tenth Premiership title in a row next season.
While potentially playing in the Premier League next season could be a good option for the player, he could still do that in the summer of 2021 after helping Celtic make history by winning the title. So staying at Parkhead for another season may not be a bad idea for Edouard.
