Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Barry Douglas looked back at the club’s 3-1 victory at Ewood Park on Saturday.
In his post, Douglas shared several photos from the match, which saw Leeds sweep aside Blackburn Rovers with ease, before adding the comment: “Three more points to our goal.”
In reaction to his post, fans of the club flocked to have their say, with many praising Douglas for his performance in the match, while others called for the player to help his side go on to secure promotion.

Although Douglas has struggled for game time this season, making just 13 appearances in the Championship for Leeds, the defender performed impressively in the 3-1 defeat of Blackburn, earning a 7.07/10 WhoScored match rating – making him the fifth-best in the Leeds side on the day.
Do you think Leeds will go up as champions this season?
Yes
No
Douglas’ performance helped Leeds to ensure that they remained at the top of the Championship table and on course to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League, as many more fans of the club heaped praise on the left-back following his tweet.
Well played Barry! You were awesome man, best performance in a Leeds shirt! ????????

With just five games remaining of the Championship season left to play, Leeds look in great shape to earn promotion to the Premier League, and with more performances like his against Blackburn, the £1.8m-rated Douglas will do himself no harm in securing the left-back spot for Marcelo Bielsa’s side next season.
