Many Celtic fans have been raving at the latest kit announcement that emerged on social media recently.
The official Celtic Twitter account recently posted this update, revealing that the club’s Adidas home kit will be released on 10th July. The tweet also carried a link to the club’s official website and the link had Scott Brown’s image in which the upper part of the new home jersey was visible.
But the tweet caught the attention of many Bhoys fans. They rushed to this post and had many things to say about it.

These Celtic fans seem pretty delighted and excited that the Hoops are about to release the new jersey. The club has already announced that they’ve reached an agreement with Adidas, who will sponsor their kits from next season onwards as the contract with New Balance was set to run out at the end of 2019/20 campaign (via Celtic.net).
Other Hoops fans also flocked to this announcement. They too gave positive feedback about this update.

One fan seemed confused about it, as he couldn’t understand how the jerseys would be available for pre-order from 10th July but wouldn’t be delivered till August.
Am I reading this right? Preorder July 10th but can’t get it till 6th August?

In general, the reaction to this update is a pretty positive one. Fans seem pretty excited by it and want the jersey to be unveiled as soon as possible.
It has been announced that the Adidas deal is a record agreement and it is the most lucrative one in Scottish sport right now. So clearly, the expectations are bound to be high. Celtic fans can only hope that the jerseys meet their expectations and they get kits that they’re proud of.
