Many Celtic fans have been fuming at Charlie Nicholas after some of his latest comments caught their attention recently.
In his latest column for the Express (via Daily Record), Nicholas was recently talking about Celtic potentially winning a 10th title in a row next season.
Despite his Celtic roots, he believes the Hoops will have ‘a problem’ with no or limited crowds at stadiums next season. He believes that the Hoops will find it hard to ‘adjust to the lack of energy’ at Parkhead. He said this can cause Celtic to ‘stumble’ in their bid to win another Premiership title in the 2020/21 campaign.
The Daily Record relayed a tweet involving Nicholas’ comments recently. It caught the attention of many Celtic fans and they made their anger for Nicholas very clear indeed.

In the column, Nicholas also said that Celtic have lost some players in the past and don’t have as many ‘numbers’ in the current squad. Not just the fans above, but some other Celtic fans were also fuming about what Nicholas had to say about next season’s Premiership campaign.

Clearly, these Celtic fans aren’t pleased with what Nicholas had to say and some believe that this isn’t the first time that the pundit has said something like this.
Nicholas is actually a former Celtic player and had two stints at Parkhead. While he is certainly entitled to his opinion about whether Celtic will win the title next season or not, fans are right to be angry at him considering he’s said all this despite past connections with the Hoops.
Fans can only hope that Celtic win the title next season and prove Nicholas wrong.
