Plenty of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to react to some alleged news concerning the Whites’ summer transfer plans that was recently reported by Norwich City-focused website READ Norwich

READ Norwich recently published an article claiming that the Whites ‘have made an enquiry’ about Canaries playmaker Emiliano Buendia. The article goes on to explain that it looks as though these two clubs ‘could soon be swapping divisions’ and if they do, Leeds United would hope to add the Argentinian man to their ranks for next season.

Leeds currently sit in second place on the Championship table, seven points clear of third-placed Fulham who are their nearest challengers outside of the automatic promotion places at present. Meanwhile, the Canaries currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table, with six points and a 13 goal difference separating them from 17th-placed West Ham United, so it appears as though these two clubs could, indeed, swap divisions for next season.

Some Leeds fans shared their reactions to this news after it was shared on Twitter, with some Whites supporters responding positively to this claim.

Nice easy one to start. Who is this current Leeds man?

However, a couple of Whites fans responded negatively to this news, with one Leeds supporter calling for the club to sign Norwich’s Teemu Pukki instead.

Would Emiliano Buendia be a good signing for Leeds United?

OF COURSE

OF COURSE

NO WAY

NO WAY

Despite playing for a Norwich City side that has scored the fewest number of goals of any side in England’s top-flight this term, Buendia, who is currently valued at £13.05m by Transfermarkt, has provided seven league assists.

Only four players have made more assists than the Argentinian has made this season according to WhoScored and with that in mind, his creativity could prove to be an asset for Leeds should they sign the 23-year-old for next season.
