Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo has admitted he is not sure Adama Traore will still be at Molineux come the start of the 2020/21 campaign.
The Old Gold returned to Premier League action at the weekend with a victory at the London Stadium over West Ham United. Traore started the game from the substitutes’ bench, replacing Leander Dendocker after 64 minutes (as per BBC Sport). Despite being on the field for little over 25 minutes, he managed to earn himself an impressive performance rating of 7.65/10 according to WhoScored.com.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of Wolves’ fixture with Bournemouth, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday evening, Espirito Santo was asked whether or not the player would still be with the club at the start of next season, to which he replied: “I don’t know. He is here now and he has trained well today and he is ready to go [play] tomorrow.”
“It is day by day, no speculation, and we just focus on what we have to do and prepare for Bournemouth.”

According to Sky Sports, Liverpool have been linked with a move for the winger, who has scored four goals and provided eight assists in 29 Premier League appearances since the start of the campaign.
The player is currently valued at £22.95m (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk), but we wouldn’t be surprised if Wolves were to demand significantly more for the 24-year-old, given his form over the course of the campaign. His average performance rating in the top flight this year stands at 7.61/10, making him the club’s most consistent performer this season.
If they are to part ways with one of their biggest assets, we can assume they will need to be compensated handsomely.
