Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to a report which was shared to social media regarding Middlesbrough’s Daniel Ayala.
According to the Mirror, the Whites have rejected the chance to sign the Spaniard on a free transfer from the Boro when his contract expires.
The 29-year-old’s deal with his current club is set to expire next week and he will be a free agent from 1st July.
A link between the Yorkshire club and the player arose due to the fact the player’s agent offered Ayala to Leeds’ director of football Victor Orta in an effort to find him a new club.
So, when the report which stated the club had rejected the chance to sign the player was shared to social media (per James Marshment), lots of the Elland Road faithful aired their thoughts.
Leeds have rejected chance to sign Daniel Ayala on a free transfer this summer, according to Daily Mirror.

Should Leeds have opted to try and sign Daniel Ayala on a free transfer? No, he's not good enoughYes, he's not bad |
Over his 25 appearances in the league this season, the defender has earned a respectable 6.92/10 average rating.
Had Ayala earned the same average rating for Leeds this season, he would have been Marcelo Bielsa’s eighth-best performer in the league (per WhoScored).
Not disappointed in the slightest.
